Admin

We have a team of admin workers which are based within our centres. At Bridgewater, where the majority of staff are based, we have a Senior Admin worker.

The admin team deals with telephone enquiries, sending out information to families, typing letters and reports, ordering equipment, and dealing with the budget. They maintain a data collection system and when anyone registers with Sure Start Children's Centres their details are entered onto our database and that information shows us what services the family are interested in. We use this information to send them news about any groups or activities that are running at local centres.
